While it's not your best work, it still has that "little" something. The part I especially liked, starts at 0:45.

But in all honesty, this is more of a song I'd like to listen to instead of using it in a game/movie. If you want your music to be used in games or movies try to imagine a scene in your head and the music it could fit to. Take your song, that was used in that flash movie, for example. It fit the movie pretty well. Congrats on that, by the way. :)

Also, since you won't be able to make songs longer than 1 minute, why don't you try to make loops of a minute sometimes. People might use them in their games if it's what they're looking for. Again, capture the atmosphere. Imagine a situation in your head. If your intend was to make songs people could listen to, forget the points mentioned above.

Another advice would be to collaborate with other people here on NG. Check out the forums and news posts to see if people need music, maybe participate in contests. This way you will make yourself a name here.

I'm looking forward to the day you'll finally get that long-awaited new PC. Else there's always the possibility to drug your father with sleeping pills and get to make songs every night without him knowing. Hope the advices (even though I'm more an artist than a musician) could be of any help. Keep doing what you love doing.

Thank you so much for the review! :) I actually wrote the story for my song, The Mystic Forest. Jessie was inspired to make it into an animation, which was really neat. This song was mainly for the listen, I wasn't thinking of any story for it, haha. :)
That's a great idea though, thank you for the advice! ;D

Good ambient rendition of a great song.

The first time I heard this song in the anime, I laughed sooo hard. The song was so perfectly going along with that scene, it made it even funnier.

About the song, it really takes a lot of patience and a good ear to remix a song, plus, including your own style is quite a hard task to do. I wished, though, that you actually kept the fast rate and remixed that one.

But still, for being an ambient track it was quite okay. :)

to be honest, i'll admit that i lied just a BIT...

at first, from 0:00 to 0:43, i had it at its normal 203bpm, and i loved the song enough to remake it in its wholeness. so i wanted to get each thing and i pretty much did. buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut since i'm not the best with FL Studio, it sounded like shit. so i just worked with something i had more experience on. making high paced tunes is another step in mastering FL Studio... but one day, i'll get there. one day.

thanks for the review!

y u no have full version?

The part from 0:11 - 0:34 would fit perfectly in a movie/game. Too bad this is just the preview. I'm pretty sure that if it was the full version, more people would download and rate it or actually use it in their projects including myself.

Better not leave it a preview, girl. This shows a lot of promise.
Good luck in your future works. Keep it up! 9/10 (because it's unfinished)

AshleyAlyse responds:

Thank you so very much! :D I will try to finish this soon! :D It's just hard because my computer is too slow to play the program I use for music well, haha.

There's a misunderstanding.

FuNaNdMoRe here to clear things up, this song was not stolen nor altered in any way. It was made on Magix Music Maker using loops from their Soundpool DVDs.

Regarding the song, it's really good. I liked the variety of loops/instruments that were used in this song. Keep up the good work. 5/5 and 10/10 for you.

Kherr responds:

Oh awesome. Thanks for caring enough to respond to what I said on your song (which was excellent btw). Much appreciated! :D

And thanks for the review! :3
